Our Faculty of Management is a place where knowledge meets practice and a space for innovation and entrepreneurship. We teach our students how to responsibly manage a business using modern tools and methods that can be applied across global markets.
Established in 1816, the University of Warsaw is Poland’s largest university and is recognized across the globe as one of the leading academic institutions and research centers in Europe. Since its beginning, it has played a pivotal role in the cultural, intellectual and political life of Poland. It is also home to six Nobel Prize winners and the famous pianist Chopin attended the university. It consistently appears in the global league tables as one of the best universities in the world and is frequently rated in first or second place in the Polish rankings. There are twenty-four faculties and thirty academic units, and students can choose from more than two hundred different programs of study. It offers twenty-eight programs in English and has a broad range of subject areas, from archaeology, culture and arts to geology, modern languages, physics, psychology and many more.
The Faculty of Management, founded in 1972, is the oldest business school in Poland and the CEE region. Each year, it attracts over five thousand students to its programs and is accredited by EQUIS and AMBA. Students can opt to major in either management or finance, and the faculty has a strong and rigorous focus on theory combined with practical work. There is a mandatory internship and options to study abroad. The faculty runs three unique programs: the International Business Program, the Global MBA and the Executive MBA. The Global MBA is a flagship program run in collaboration with three other international partners. Students get the opportunity to attend all four universities, gaining unparalleled international experience and learning from academic leaders in their field. Across all three programs, there is a strong focus on intercultural communication and international management practices. The Faculty is currently in the process of joining the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), one of the most prestigious accreditations in the world.
